Small Bathroom Organization
Small Bathroom Organization Bins
There are so many sizes and types to be able to get for your bathroom that just depend on what you are looking for. For example, for all of my hair products, I like to use a lazy susan. This way you have all of your hair products in one big bin. It can be thrown under your sink or if you have cabinets.
You can also use lazy susans for cleaning products, skincare, shampoos/shower products, and so much more. This is just a great idea to use when you are in a rush and need all of your hair stuff in one spot. A lazy susan is great for that because you can also carry it with you 🙂
Baskets to Organize
A basket is perfect to organize bathroom toiletries and even your bathroom cleaning supplies. It is a great idea to use these for just your bathroom cleaning products. This way they are not just floating around the house and it is super easy to clean with whenever you are ready to clean your bathrooms.
Another hack to use for baskets is to throw in your toilet paper. If you have enough space, having a basket with toilet paper is great for guest bathrooms. Just in case they run out of toilet paper, they know exactly where to find the toilet paper. This can save you time and space if there is space for the basket in the bathroom. Cute and a functional small bathroom hack 🙂

Dispensers (ALL TIME FAV SMALL BATHROOM HACKS!)
Dispensers are great for small bathroom organization because they are able to have everything in one spot and usually they do not take a lot of space! Here is a Q-tip organizer/dispenser I have which is a great small bathroom hack: Target Canister
All bathrooms need a good soap and lotion dispenser! Especially your guest ones. I have this one from Target: Stone Set. Such a great idea to have because you NEED it! I seriously think that adding this to your bathroom will help you with organizing and also keep your bathroom looking stylish as well!!
Lotion Dispenser! I talked about this before, but adding in a lotion dispenser is so good for guests and you! As soon as you are washing your hands, you are able to get some lotion and have clean and soft hands.
Shower Organization
I used to love those organizers around the shower hose, but I have learned that shelves are it for the shower! Seriously, I wish I would have gotten some cute glass shelves from amazon. Here is what I am talking about: Shower Shelf From BBB!
Here is what I have currently. It is not the worst, but not the best bathroom organizer either…
Counter Organization
Organizing your counter can all depend on whether or not you have the space for it. Some things you can organize on your counter are makeup, toothbrushes, skincare, soaps, lotions, tissues, etc. It all is about what you want on your sink and what will not look too cluttered. What are things that you use everyday? What are some things you do not use everyday and can be stored under your sink or cabinet? For example, I do not need my straightener everyday so I can store that away. I also use my toothbrush everyday so I need something that will organize that as well. Some other tools to organize on your counter:
- A rag to wipe your counters
- A tissue box
- Q tip canister
- Cotton rounds canister
- Toothbrush canister
- Lotion Dispenser
- Soap Dispenser
- Makeup organizer (optional and not for everyone)
- Skincare organizer (shelves work great for this)
Why Organize?
The perfect plan to organize can get crazy to handle sometimes. I think it is important to remember why you are organizing. Whether or not that you have a small bathroom or not! It is important to make sure there is a place for EVERYTHING in your bathroom (and house)… Organizing is the best way to do so. Have your bins ready, baskets, etc and you should be good to go. As long as you have a clear plan, you should be all start to organizing your bathroom!
Before any home project, small or big, I like to draw up my plan. Just making sure that you have everything and what you need to buy, etc. You can definitely just use a sketch of your room and what all you have in there. This is also a great opportunity to throw away junk that you have not used. I know that the bathroom can accumulate a lot of older skincare products, old toothpaste, empty shower products, etc. It is a great time to replace your toothbrush, shampoos, razors, and your loofahs.
Moral of the story, organizing your bathroom is the best way to maximize your space in a small bathroom! You are going to gain a new perspective when you finally let go of all of your junk and you are able to actually see and use everything you need to. Do not be a hoarder in your bathroom especially!! You are going to be able to get rid of your junk and also accumulate your bathroom junk in a way that is actually sustainable. Good luck! Here are my best small bathroom hacks for you to change your home and life!
Small Bathroom Hacks
Overall, I will have to give my best keep small bathroom hacks and tools! These are some of the best tips and hacks you can use for most bathrooms and not just small bathrooms. Perfect for guest bathrooms!
- Keep your towels in your cabinets. (HOT TIP: Keep an unused candle in there for your towels to always smell fresh)
- Get an over the door organizer. This one is awesome because it has shelf space and racks for towels/clothes! I like to keep my clothes that are clean, but not clean enough to hang but not dirty enough for the laundry?! I hope that is a thing for everyone!!
- Keep skincare in small bins in your drawers. This is a great tip for those who are hoarders like me for skincare/makeup. I like to put all of my skincare that I use everyday in a drawer. The rest of my skincare will usually go in another bin under the sink! Just because the best tip for organization is to make sure you are actually using what you need and not just keeping junk to keep it!
- Drawer organization: Super important. Make sure your bathroom drawers have a system. Use these type of bins. This is such a good staple for any closet in your home. Also these target bins are actually perfect for your skincare drawers.
- The PERFECT Drawer Portable situation: Use this for small bathrooms because you can literally have it travel with you around the house or really anywhere. Such a good find for people who have enough space to stick this in their bathroom. You are able to keep all of your skincare/makeup/toiletries in one spot and it is a great organizer for anything else you may need for your home!
- Under the Sink Organizers!!! (SO CUTE & PRACTICAL): This is something I have been eyeing for so longggg! I think it is a great organizer for toiletries/skincare/makeup you are storing for now and do not pick out everyday!
- Storage Caddy: This one is similar to the one from before, but it is a bit more sleek looking and space friendly. You can definitely throw this in a small bathroom and carry around all of your skincare and haircare needs in one spot.
- Makeup Organizer: If you have enough space for this, get it! I think it is a good organizer for your counter. It is able to store a lot of makeup/other toiletries if need be!
So there it is. Most of all of my small bathroom organization hacks and tools. These are all tips and tricks that can also be used for spacious bathrooms too! My mantra in every organization project/post is that if there is a place for everything than you can stay organized for the most part!! My best kept bathroom hacks for your home and making sure you have a great spot for everything in your home.
