HOUSEHOLD CLEANING PRODUCTS LIST!
Have you ever thought about how many cleaning supplies and materials there are out there? There are so many and new ones are coming out EVERY day when you go to Walmart, Target, Dollar Tree, etc… I am going through each of my household cleaning products list and telling you all of my secrets. What worked and what did not work…I have been using most of these products for over two years now and I have repurchased them twice AT LEAST! That should tell you how loyal I am to my products. But the thing is what works…works….and needs to be kept!
How I got to my favorite cleaning products:
I got to these cleaning products after living alone for TWO years!! Which is actually crazy… I know, I know. I am writing this post to help you not go the same rabbit hole I did! It is important to make sure that you know WHAT you are cleaning, HOW OFTEN, and WHEN! I also have a cleaning schedule post that may help you out! I have also given you my best deep cleaning house hacks for you to work on!
As always, use these products and buy them one by one. I would hate for you to get all of them and not use any! I think these cleaning products and supplies work for me because I have been able to filter through what does and what does not work.
You HAVE to be able to filter through that before you switch over to all of these products. All of our kitchen appliances, bathroom appliances, floors, etc are ALL different. Make sure you do your own research on what you should and should not use depending on your home. Especially apartments!
KITCHEN CLEANERS:
For my key kitchen cleaning products, I will start off with dishwasher detergent. I use this detergent EVERY DAY because I know how much time, water, and $$$ I save when I wash my dishes in the actual dishwasher instead of washing them with hands. I prefer liquid detergent rather than pods because liquid lasts a lot longer honestly.
DISHWASHER RINSE AID: Not a must HAVE, but it definitely does work and removes those water spots from your dishes.
DISHWASHER CLEANER: If you do not want to get this type of cleaner, then you can also put some baking soda on the bottom of your dishwasher rack and have a bowl full of vinegar and run on an empty cycle. Should clean out your dishwasher pretty well! Now that is a great deep cleaning hack but also good for your perfect household cleaner products list
DISHWASHER SOAP: Hands down, BLUE dawn soap! The best one. I also like to use it on my dog to remove fleas (ick)! It is a life changer especially once you start to see them scratching.
DAWN POWERWASH SPRAY: I use this for everything: cleaning my counters, cleaning marks on the walls, cleaning my sink, really an all around all purpose spray! It smells so good no matter what scent you get, and it really helps clean things that another typical all purpose cleaner would not be able to do.
BARKEEPER LIQUID: I use this for pots, pans, sinks, etc to remove rust. SO GOOD!!!!! Get it! I like to use it on my sink after scrubbing it.
GARBAGE DISPOSAL CLEANER: The best cleaner for your disposal and I really think that it actually cleans it and makes it smell SO good. GET IT. It can be a bit expensive but I love to use this when I am treating myself. I also like to throw in baking soda, vinegar and a little hot water when I am out of these pods!
FABULOSO: Best mop cleaner, it smells so good. I like to use just a few drops and sometimes when I am in the deep cleaning mood, I will do one wash with a lot of fabuloso and then another mop run with just HOT water. Does a great job and makes sure that your floors are actually clean!
BATHROOM CLEANERS:
Here is the toilet cleaner and brush that I like to use. I would hate having a typical toilet brush sitting in its grossness for days or whatever. So I like to use this disposal one from scrubbing bubbles. GREAT product! Two toilet cleaning disposal cleaners: one more paper like and then there are heavy duty cleaners.

GET THEM! Life changing cleaning hack if you do not want to have icky toilet brush germs. Maybe it is only a me problem!
For the shower, I will switch it up. However I use this little wand thing from target/dollar tree and put in vinegar and dawn soap. While I am showering, I will scrub the floors and walls with this and it should do the trick most of the time.

Kaboom Shower Spray as well is just as good!
I have seen people use this Clorox wand thing but I just never like to have things just sitting there after I am done cleaning. The smaller wand is easy to hang in your shower and gets the job done weekly when you are cleaning your shower!
OVERALL CLEANERS:
This EverSpring all purpose cleaner is exactly what you need in order to help you clean your counters or anything else. It smells SO good and it gets the job done, I think!
Lysol is a great cleaner that I would use before, but this everspring one is nontoxic and great for animals to breathe in! The more I think about it, the more less toxic products I want to go for me and my dog in the house!
Sprayway Glass Cleaner: I think I have seen this glass cleaner blow up so many times..but seriously such a good glass cleaner. I do not think I have seen any streaks at all when I use this one. I use it with microfiber towels for my glass coffee table, mirrors, etc. And then for my bathroom mirrors, I usually like to use paper towels just because of cross-contamination in a bathroom. (HOT TIP: USE PAPER TOWELS WHEN YOU ARE CLEANING BATHROOMS AND NOT MICROFIBER TOWELS)!
Stainless Steel Cleaner: A great cleaning product that will clean and shine your stainless steel appliances. I like to use this on my fridge, dishwasher, etc! Such a good cleaner and really gives you the best bang for your buck! Super cheap and affordable and makes your appliances SHINE!
Actual Cleaning Supplies – HOUSEHOLD CLEANING PRODUCTS LIST!
SWIFFER DUSTER: The perfect duster for around your home.
O-CEDAR MOP: Best spin mop ever. I am sure you have seen it all over TikTok! It is one of the best investments I have made. I do buy my spin mop attachments from Amazon. I will throw them in the washer after a few uses and then throw them out when they get old and raggedy!
Microfiber Mop Replacement Heads: Get these from Amazon.
Microfiber towels: Best towels to clean around your house for your counters, dusting, walls, baseboards, etc! Another house hack for you: get a basket in your laundry room and put all of your dirty rags/towels/mopheads in there. Once it is full, you can just start to wash them and have them in one spot!
Blinds Cleaner: We often will forget about the blinds and then realize after years how dusty they are. Make sure you are cleaning your blinds at least once or twice every 6 months. This is a great little tool you can use. Sometimes the swiffer duster does not do a great job on making sure to really get in the cracks. That is why it is essential to use something that will get in those small spots.
When mopping make sure you are going among the creases and not side to side. This will really help with cleaning in your grout and making sure it does not really miss a spot!
