I think it is super hard to find some good home decor pieces, but it is not impossible. I am coming up with my top 20 cheap home decor items that are cute and on a budget! Comment some that you have found yourself!
1. Artificial Palm Plants – CHEAP HOME DECOR ITEM
First, I know there are a lot of people who cannot keep plants alive (me). Therefore, it is almost necessary that you need to get a fake plant in your rooms to really give it color. If you have read any of my other posts, then you should know that I love the concept of adding greenery to really add some neutral color to your house!
PSA: The best and easiest real home plant to take care of is fiddle leaf plant! GET IT! SO CUTE!!
2. THE BEST CURTAINS (CHEAP & CUTE)
Secondly, it took me like 1 year to finally buy some curtains for my house, because I wanted them to actually darken up my room and also be cute and not ugly. These are some of my favorite curtains I have bought for my house. I have the light brown one and the white ones. They are not blackout curtains, but they actually do give some great shade to your home!
3. THROW BLANKET NUDE/BEIGE
Therefore, I think throw blankets can add some character and texture into a room! I am all for a nude throw blanket as a cheap home decor item that really completes a room, but I know that there are so many fall/summer colors you can add that can also do the same!
4. SIMPLE DOOR MAT
Okay, door mats are SO important and I do not know why it took me so long to realize it. Actually, most door mats would go under with the cheap home decor items list that we are looking for. But here is a simple one I recently got for my front door!
5. BEADS – CHEAP HOME DECOR ITEMS LIST
I really did not understand the hype of these beads as a home decor item until I actually got them! They add a lot to your room (why do I keep saying that phrase?) Anyway, use them on your coffee tables, nightstands, entryway table, etc!
6. CANDLESTICK DECOR
There are so many candlestick decor items that may not look like candlesticks, but they can be a perfect item to add to your house. This one is a simple one that you really do not have to even add a candlestick to.
That is literally one of the best parts of this! It adds character.

7. COFFEE TABLE TRAY
H&M Home is so underrated. This tray looks more expensive than it actually is and that is the beauty of finding cheap home decor items on a limb!!
This is just one I would get for a light brown coffee table…
8. BASKET
This is just an example of a simple and basic basket that you can add to your collection of cheap home decor items list, but it is something that is so useful.
BASKETS can be put in every room and you throw everything in there that may not have a place at that moment. It makes the room look way more put together!
9. PERFECT FULL SIZE MIRROR – surprisingly cheap home decor items list
An affordable full-size mirror? Are we dreaming? Finding a mirror to add to this cheap home decor items list was something I really thought I would not be able to do.
Mirrors are so expensive (WHY!?) but anyway, this is like the perfect size to add to your room, living room, hallway, etc…
And it is definitely affordable!
10. DECOR STAND
I am not sure if this is a “trendy” home decor item, but it is the perfect stone to add to your nightstands or any other tables in your house. AND it is on a budget…
11. CEMENT PLANTER (SMALL)
Someone want to tell me why planters are so expensive? Anyway…here is one of my cheap home decor items that is actually kind of small but perfect to add to your office table, coffee table, and even your dining table!
12. ACCENT CHAIR (AFFORDABLE ISH)
I find that accent chairs are so hard to find because you want them to be different, but you do not want them to look like they stand out way too much or they blend in too much!
13. CERAMIC WHITE VASE
Cheap home decor items that actually look cute can be hard to find. But this is the white vase that is the perfect shade of white that will go with any type of home decor style!

14. THROW PILLOWS
Now, throw pillows are always so tricky. Instead of me giving direct links to that, I am going to give you some hacks on how I get throw pillows for my couches and bed on a budget.
Step One: Go to Ross/Marshalls/TJ Maxx and grab throw pillows that have removable zippers. These pillows can be ugly because we are going to replace them.
Step Two: Now, you can purchase pillow covers for cheaper and use those cheaper pillows from before to replace!
Throw pillow websites: target.com, etsy.com, willowandnook.com, and the list can go on!
Getting some cheap home decor items does not always have to look “cheap”! You want these items to be luxurious looking and that does not look like you got them for half the price. YES, it is important to make sure you also look at the quality instead of having a bunch of items that look collectively cheap.

This is such a good deal on a bed frame that is very linen and trendy like as well. It can work for almost all different themes and homes!! Perfect to use for a master bedroom or a guest bedroom.
