Once you buy a new home, you have no idea on where to start on how to make it look like a real home! First off, CONGRATS! You got a new home and you have the keys and now it is time to furnish a new home and you need that checklist in one spot so that you do not do trial and error.

I am here to give you the scoop on what to get, what not to get, and what you may need depending on different factors! So here it is my home essentials list and my ultimate list of essentials things you will need for your new home.

Kitchen Home Essentials

The kitchen is where you should start. Just because you are going to be hungry and thirsty once you start to move in. Get some basics: drinks, snacks, eggs and toast. That is if you have your fridge installed yet!

So I am going to keep updating this as I am settling into my new home. I really want to do a post on a list of home essentials target edition! I think that will be a good resource for everyone who is moving into a new home!

It is going to be really hard once you move into a new home when you are trying to organize everything. Especially if you are planning on starting totally fresh and have no idea what you need for each room. I plan to make a PDF of all of these items so you can also have a checklist. However, I want to finalize this list and make sure I put in all of the possibility necessary!

Moving into a new home can be a hassle, but you need to have a plan on what you need and what can be bought later. I think that is another tip as well. Make sure you put in enough time in deciding what can be bought later. There are a lot of home essentials I am waiting on until I actually bought my main decor!
