However, there are people (me) out there that prefer to get gifts for their home instead of a beauty, life, etc item! 1. Wood Cutting Boards
Okay, seriously, I am not going to even link any wooden boards. The best wooden cutting boards will be at Ross, Marshalls, Home Goods, and TJ Maxx. Make sure you check those out before. I am going to link one that I kind of want to get for myself from Target!
2. Food Processor ~Home Gift Guide Must Have~
I have given so many food processors for house warming gifts this year. I am going to link this Ninja one. It is SO good. I like to make sauces, dips, and salsas in there. You can also puree soups even which is such a great addition. It is only $20 and is actually super powerful. This would be my top 5 home gift guide item honestly to give to anyone.

3. Chopper ~Home Gift Guide Must have~
This is an item that everyone says is life changing and I have to say I definitely agree. I always get hate from my boyfriend whenever my onions are in different shapes and sizes. However this chopper ($20ish) is perfect for a house warming gift or for a Christmas gift for someone you know who cooks a lot!
4. Crockpot
I have never understood the hype of a crockpot until I recently got one. Get one that has a pan that can be cooked on the stove! I have broken my insert because I thought it was stove-proof…It was not! So just a heads up basically to make sure to get a pan that is safe for the stove if you want to use it for sauteing meat or onions.

5. Rice Cooker
I used to struggle with rice SO much…it was actually ridiculous. It took me awhile to understand the water to rice ratio and how to cook it on the stove…so I would recommend for first time home buyers to get a rice cooker. It is easy and cheap and takes minutes for your rice to be done. You don’t have to mess with another pot and you can just use this as a great appliance on the side as you are cooking your main dish for the night. Such a treat honestly!
6. Plants
Depending on your person and/or budget, a small or big plant can be perfect for a housewarming gift and even a Holiday gift as well. I wanted to add it to this home gift guide just in case someone’s perfect gift is a plant. Also I am going to link a semi-pricey faux plant from world market and it looks so beautiful in every room. Either get it for someone else or yourself! Such a good plant and I know it will brighten up any room in your home.
7. Knife Home Gift Set
A good knife set goes a LONG way. You do not need to spend hundreds of dollars for a good knife set, especially for a first time home owner home or someone who just started to get cooking in their kitchen. I have this one from Target and I love the details of it and I really do think it is super sharp for me for me at least!
8. Nude Throw Pillows
I do not think that getting throw pillows that look good to you, you should gift them to someone else. Just because everyone has different styles/themes to their own home. So I would suggest to get neutral colors of throw pillows especially some big ones. I think it is a good idea since they can get super pricey and often times, throw pillows are the last thing someone wants to decorate for their house! PLUS TIP: Get pillows that have zips so people are able to change covers on their pillow!
9. Air Fryer
Okay…literally I do not want to be apart of the hype, but I am definitely part of the hype when I say that an air fryer is life changing. It is easy and usually able to fit in the cabinets/storage. It usually does not have to be pre heated and all your meats and veggies can be cooked within minutes and give an actual fryer experience. You can find some cheap air fryers for $40 and some go up to like $200. Buying an air fryer for someone who does not have it = priceless! Get a cheap one and get them on there.
10. Baskets
Baskets are something I think I talk about in every blog post…literally. You can find some cheap ones from Target, Ross, Home Goods etc… These are great for this home gift guide since you can add in some little gifts in the actual basket and call it an entire basket. For example: basket: candy, candles, flowers, small home decor pieces, coasters, flowers, etc! You can literally make this basket something they can use for a room in their home and it is perfect for a housewarming gift or a holiday gift!
11. Door Mats
A random holiday home gift guide item, but I am telling you it is perfect for your friends/family who need some love to their home and it is on a budget! Perfect home decor item that usually most people will appreciate because door mats either go bad really fast or just need a replacement!
12. Cheese Board Platters
I mean seriouslyyyyy…do I need to say more? Cheese boards are great and all, but most of the time I wish I had some aesthetically pleasing boards and utensils to use when I am setting up a cheese board. I think it is a perfect home gift guide item for most people! You can use these things for other stuff besides cheese boards also.
13. Mugs
You can add this to a basket like I said before. But mugs are something people love to collect and actually use. I think that any type of mugs are great, but Target ones are awesome since they are a a good cheap price and are mostly neutral for people to give to!
14. Candlestick Decor
A perfect home decor item and a perfect home gift guide item for 2021! A great trend that really looks beautiful in any room and people can add their own creativity to this piece! That has to be the best part.
15. Throw Blankets
Throw blankets are a great gift for literally anyone. I think it is an unspoken rule that there is no limit of throw blankets in someone’s house. If you do not know what to get someone, get them a nice, neutral colored throw blanket. They are going to enjoy it…trust me!
16. Vases
My last item on this home gift guide for 2021! But certainly something everyone can use. Vases are so beautiful and add in so much dimension to a house, I think it is a perfect house gift for anyone really because you can never have too many. You can use them for flowers and you can definitely have vases by itself. Add in some pampas grass and you should be good to go!

Some of these may be “trendy” but all of them are useful and should be something that can be found on everyone’s budget.
