1. Wreaths As A Cheap Fall Decor Item
First off, wreaths were always something I never appreciated until getting my own space. You should definitely look into buying a wreath for every season! It spices up your front door for you and your guests! It is definitely one of those cheap fall decor item that you can really find at any home decor store. I am going to link my favorite fall ones.
Disclaimer: I like to try to get away from that typical hobby lobby fall decor, if you know what I mean. I am not someone who is that into that boho farmhouse look, but if you are, you can definitely find most of those pieces at Hobby Lobby for a really good deal!!
2. Door Mats: perfect cheap fall decor
Second, wreaths and doormats are the two items that can change within seasons almost entirely and are usually cheap enough to replace every season! A trick with door mats is you can definitely use two different sizes to layer them up! In addition, people often times will look over their coffee table and adding fall decor to it! Or any season decor. Add in some fall candles for a super cheap hack for fall home decorations!
Now, adding in some taupe, brown, orangey (not too bright) to your coffee table will absolutely give you that power of fall home decor!! Add in a brown coffee table book. Add in some scones that are supposed to smell good as well.

Next, white or orange Pumpkins are such a good fall staple and super inexpensive. You can definitely use real pumpkins or white pumpkins. Adding this to your front door, dining table, kitchen island, and wherever else.

Mason jars used to be super tacky, however I think they are slowly making a way back. And you can use Pinterest to really dial up your creativity and decorate mason jars according to the season.

Adding in vases around your house with fake or real greenery and/or plants are a good way to also add in plants to your fall home decor collection. It is a super cheap way to grab vases from Dollar Tree and paint them a matte brown color and in some plants.

A simple way to spruce up your dinners! Use a light brown or brown napkin for your formal or even informal dinners. Now, you can usually find some good quality napkins to roll your silverware in, at Target and even Dollar Tree!
10. Candles – Best cheap fall candles!!!
Finally, I mentioned this one before, but seriously, use candles as a staple season decor piece for EVERY and season. You can go to Walmart instead of Bath and Body Works, for some cheaper options. I like to use soy candles for better quality candles. I like to get pecan, caramel, fall leaves, anything that really adds in that fall scent to your house!
TIP: Empty candle jars can be a perfect way to use as a vase for flowers!
